Norwich architects A2 Architecture commissioned Special Design Studio to produce three exhibition boards for them to show at the FANN 2009 – Festival of Architecture Norfolk and Norwich. www.fann.durban.co.uk The exhibition runs at the Forum in Norwich from the 16th to the 20th of November. This campaign has probably swept the larger Metropolises of Earth already, but here, within my leafy environs, this was arresting. It’s brilliant the way the film has slipped over and applied its fantasy in to the real world…outside Hong Kong take-away on Unthank Road. Reminds me of when BritArt put titles and small descriptions, like the ones you find under paintings in a gallery, on all manner of street furniture around London, such as ‘Pavement. Concrete and stone. 1999.’
