Having been introduced to the Renaissance book collection at the Forum’s Norfolk Heritage Centre, I was really amazed to find out that in many cases the owner of the book was encouraged to ‘interact’ with the book; drawing and colouring of drop capital letters or colouring of elaborate illustrations. Professionals existed who would colour the book for you – but it is clear that individual owners would take it upon themselves, and enjoy the process of contributing to their book.Want the full story? I like records. I like vinyl. I like music. I can't think of a better thing to spend my money on than a new record. As a kid the charts were really important. They were more important than anything else. We all listened to them on the Radio – often ready to press record on the Hi-Fi's tape machine.Want the full story? Click here.
I am not a policeman. I am not wholly sure of any particular law. But I thought double yellow lines meant that you can't park at anytime on them – and if you did it is obstructive and dangerous, forcing other drivers and cyclists out in to the middle of the road. I also thought cars were not allowed to park on pavements.Want the full story? Click here.

“What do you want to be when you grow up?” As a naïve seven year old that question appeared both harmless and irrelevant to me. Now, at fifteen, I find it daunting and difficult to respond to. This meant the prospect of work experience made me both anxious and excited.Want the full story? Click here.

Drawing with my children has reminded me of how to create new worlds – and of the pleasure of just drawing for drawings sake. They create worlds full of soldiers, monsters, aliens, adventurers, super heroes, rockets, tanks and ships all set within a new universe.Want the full story? Click here.

Three years ago I jumped at the chance to join a focus group formed of creative and digital companies working in Norwich to think about creating a better sense of community. Having recently started working in Norwich after a decade or so in East London I had some strong feelings about the afterwork culture here in Norwich. Easy to sum up in that there wasn’t one! All that creative work done over beers in bars didn’t seem to be happening and coupled with the general sense of competition rather than collaboration there seemed to be a space to make something happen.Want the full story?
