I am not a policeman. I am not wholly sure of any particular law. But I thought double yellow lines meant that you can't park at anytime on them – and if you did it is obstructive and dangerous, forcing other drivers and cyclists out in to the middle of the road. I also thought cars were not allowed to park on pavements.

What’s more I thought red cycle lanes were also not to be parked on, so that cyclists could use them to ride along. But my experience of riding in to work has changed my view on this and I was obviously wrong, for, what seems like a growing number of car drivers, it seems quite a popular thing to do and seems to go unpunished by any coppers. I was thinking about getting a personalised number plate for my Mazda 5 and joining in the fun.

This is the tenth installment of my 12x2014 series. I have no agenda – just to take an idea and apply it to a screen print. Do one every month in 2014 and initially print 12 of each design, using GFSmith Colourplan paper.
