Since the fifties, Norman Dilworth has been an important figure in contemporary art and has established a successful career in continental Europe, which in 2007 led to a retrospective at the Musée Matisse in France. Working in the context of the constructivist and systems movements Dilworth’s work is international and substantial in feel and scale.
Norman Dilworth has been producing sculptures, drawings and paper cuttings since graduating from the Slade in 1956. His work is part of the modernist movement embracing both Structuralism and Minimalism.
Norman asked us to create a site that allowed the artworks to be presented simply and clearly. He wanted the website to work as a place to create an archive for his work. The site is effectively an online museum.
A very clean site with minimal navigation. The site is responsive and shows the work off to its maximum advantage.
“The Special thing about working with the Special Design Studio is their endless patience. ”
